With completion of its final fund, Sachs Capital gets a new name

With its final investment in in a third-generation holiday decorating company, Sachs Capital expands its team and takes a new name.

Potomac-based private equity firm Sachs Capital is rebranding. As of this week, the minority, non-control equity investor is becoming Mauloa. Founder and Managing Partner Andrew Sachs started the firm in 2007, and after deploying two funds, he decided it was time to execute on a change that he said has been in the works for a couple of years.
